The eldest son of the late Vernon P. Thomas, Esq., Vernon and his younger brother Hunter F. Thomas, Esq., took over his father’s practice upon returning from his active-duty mobilization to 95th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne), Fort Bragg where he served as the Brigade Trial Counsel.  Vernon continues to follow in his father’s footsteps by continuing to build and thrive in the neighborhood law practice that his father began more than 30 years ago, as well as continuing his growth in the Baton Rouge area where he has operated an office on Government Street for nearly 13 years.

Vernon is licensed to practice in Louisiana and looks to continue the legacy of personal commitment to the people of the Baton Rouge area through tireless commitment to compassion, discipline, social justice, rehabilitation, and safety.
